2011 Dodge Journey – Featuring High – Quality Materials

The 2011 Dodge Journey is now available with several significant changes and it is featuring higher – quality materials. This latest Dodge model is an ideal combination of handsome design and high level of sophistication. This crossover – SUV gives tough competition to all other current branded automotives Toyota RAV4, Kia Sorento and the Honda CR-V etc.

It comes in 5 – different trims such as Maintstreet, Express, Lux, Crew, and last but not the least, R / T. for the comfort of passengers, it is well – equipped with steel 16 – inch wheels, side roof rack rails, illuminated cupholders, keyless entry / ignition, steering tilt and telescoping wheel, full power accessories, and outside heated mirrors.

To maintain precise temperature in the car, the 2011 Dodge Journey has dual – zone air conditioning. The entertainment system of this trim adds audio 6 – speaker system, audio auxiliary jack, USB functionality, CD player, and iPod interface. On the other hand, Mainstreet model features body – color mirrors, satellite radio and alloy 17 – inch wheels.

The Crew trim includes fog lamps, 19 – inch alloy wheels, storage compartments, steering leather – wrapped wheel, rearview auto – dimming mirror, and automatic tri – zone climate control etc. For the convenience of passengers, the R/T trim has dual – zone climate control.

The Lux offers alloy 19 – inch wheels, front heated seats, leather upholstery, Bluetooth connectivity, and rearview camera etc. to improve its driving capabilities, the 2011 Dodge Journey has either 2.4 – liter 4 – cylinder engine or 3.6  liter V6 engine.

The 2.5 – liter engine is able to churns out more than 173 hp of maximum energy at 6000 rpm and around 166 lb – ft of torque at 4000 rpm. For enhancing its engine performance, it is mated with standard front – wheels and 4 – speed automatic transmission. As per the fuel EPA estimation, it achieves 19 mpg on city roads and 25 mpg on highways. The fuel capacity of this model is 20.5 – gallons.

The V6 engine has capacity to pumps out approximately 283 hp of energy and 260 lb – ft of torque. This engine is paired with 6 – speed automatic transmission and front – wheel drive. According to fuel EPA economy, it achieves 17 mpg on the roads of cities and 25 mpg on highways.

For the safety of passengers, manufacturer added antilock – disc brakes, electronic stability control, traction control, knee driver – side airbags, curtain – side airbags, and roll – over sensors.
